“Hike for kids”
Rock Mill Preserve, 365 Grandview Road, 1 pm
Cara Snitkiss, Leader
Join us on Sunday, October 5th at 1pm for a fun-filled, kid-friendly hike at the Rock Mill Preserve. Kids will enjoy walking the easy, 1-mile loop trail while learning about the plants and animals in the preserve through fun activities. The hike will be led by a local Girl Scout who will also be “unveiling” the interpretive signs she made for the park as a part of her Gold Award project. Kids and parents are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and wear appropriate shoes. Snacks will be provided.
Registration isn’t necessary but you can let us know you’re coming by signing up on the Google+ event page.
